Physical Therapy

River Physical Therapy addresses a child’s ability to participate in age appropriate activities and facilitate normal gross motor development- helping your child to lead a playful and active life!

Our Physical Therapists are all highly trained in working with children with a wide range of disabilities and each therapist is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.  We develop customized therapy programs that are suited to each child’s unique and individual needs. Our clients range in age from infants who have challenges such as Torticollis to school age children with sports injuries. River has a state-of-the-art and innovative facility for our physical therapy program that includes zip lines, monkey bars, climbing walls, swings, a ball pit, and much more.

The River Physical Therapy program focuses on the following treatments:

• Development of gross motor skills
• Balance and coordination
• Functional mobility skills
• Orthopedic and athletic rehabilitation
• Posture and gait
• Splinting and casting
• Strength and range of motion
• Endurance

We believe that every child should be an active participant in life and not sit on the side-lines due to a disability or injury. River Physical Therapy not only gets your child back into the game of childhood, but helps to build their self-esteem, confidence, and spirit.
